Chillin in da Twiggle Room :D

Katie Sanders burst into her common room, carrying so many books, she felt as though her arms were about to break. Way back in Diagon Alley (well...it really wasn't THAT far back actually...but it certainly felt that way), when she'd bought all the books, she hadn't really processed that she would be expected to carry them all to her classes everyday. At the Academy, all the teachers had kept an extra stock of books in the classroom, and the students could just kept their copies up in their dorm rooms to do homework with. Now though...it looked as though Katie would either have a very strong back by the end of the year, or wind up straining herself.

Sighing slightly, she collapsed on a lumpy beanbag chair located in front of a cheerfully crackling fire. Setting the majority of her books aside, Katie picked up the first one, her DADA book, and cracked it open. Her old school had been just a tiny bit ahead in DADA, and the stuff inside was primarily review. She began trying to read the first paragraph of their homework. However, not even DADA could hold her attention for long. Katie began to grow bored with the subject. Setting the book aside, Katie hugged her knees to her chest and tried to think of random things to do- preferably things that would NOT get her into trouble on her second day at her new school.

Sara had just been setting up her room trying to make it have a homeish feel when she realized that if she put up one more poster she would explode. So she set aside her favorite quidditch poster and walked out of her room leaving the door slightly ajar.

"Hey, it's katie right?" Sara asked as she sat down in the chair across from Katie. Sara had taken with her some of her free reading books in case no one had been there.

Startled slightly, Katie jumped about a foot and a half, nearly falling out of the beanbag (quite an accomplishment, actually). Straightening herself, she smiled at the cause of her start- it was one of her new roommates, one of the Sara(h)s, perhaps? Unless it was Kristina...she knew it definitely wasn't Rachel, whom she'd gotten to know over the summer...

"Yup! Katie Sanders" she responded. "You're Sara, right?"
